How To Write An Article For Readers But Also Search Engine Friendly

One of the biggest misunderstandings today is that there is some kind of difference between being search engine friendly and being for the readers. This is a fallacy as most of the major search engines see the two as one in the same. A site which is overly optimized for the search engines but contains very little information will never do as good as a site which has relevant and informative content which has not been optimized.

Think of it as a balanced equation. You see, all too often webmasters focus on the heuristics of the search engines instead of the visitors to the site. They over-work themselves in an attempt to beat the complicated algorithms. This would be an impossibility and a large waste of time. There are millions of variables in the search engine ranking systems, which are used for one purpose and one purpose only; to do the work for you.

The term Search Engine Optimization has also been extremely construed over recent years too. All it takes is a simple glance at the term to understand its meaning. The goal of optimizing for a search engine is doing nothing more then making it easier for the search engine spiders to access and index your page in the manner that you would like it to be done.

Always remember to put the readers first. SEO should always be an afterthought. If you place the readers first you will always win. A clean and naturally written article will always prevail over a carefully calculated one which is only written as a means of improving the site’s rank.
